---Liyuan Plant Achieves Efficient Post-Disaster Resumption of Work and Production

On September 3, 2026, due to Typhoon Saudel, Putian City, Fujian Province, where subsidiary Fujian Liyuan Activated Carbon Industrial Co., Ltd. is located, suffered historically rare torrential rain that triggered flooding. Floodwater quickly backed into the plant premises from roads, forcing Liyuan to suspend production.
Faced with the sudden and severe emergency, Liyuan responded promptly. On-site staff and management from all departments switched to a 24-hour on-site duty schedule, suspending commuting to avoid casualties. Under the premise of ensuring safety, on-site personnel immediately launched rescue operations: stacking sandbags to block breaches and operating water pumps nonstop to mitigate flood damage to warehouses and equipment. Enhanced duty and patrols were arranged to monitor water levels around the clock and respond to localized water inflow at any time. Thanks to rational management coordination and united efforts of on-site employees, Liyuan reported zero casualties and no major property losses.

 

On the morning of September 5, floodwaters gradually receded. All on-site staff immediately kicked off recovery work. Teams worked concurrently to drain pits, clear roads, organize warehouses, clean workshops, inspect production lines and repair equipment, racing against time to restore operations.
