YL-700 series products, called pharmaceutical activated carbon, these products are made from food grade vegetable-based activated carbons and undergo a specialized process to enable their purity and suitability for various applications.

1.Decolorization：Remove colored substances from coarse products; Such as paracetamol, VC crude products need to be prepared by activated carbon decolorization and recrystallization;

2.Purification：Extraction of active substances from crude products; For the preparation of vitamin D and penicillin, effective substances need to be extracted from fermentation broth and then elution and purification with organic solvent;

3.Refining：Remove a small amount of impurities and pyrogen in semi-finished products; Especially need to inject into the human body, after disinfection bacteria will produce byproducts, together with a small amount of heat-resistant bacteria collectively known as pyrogen, these substances into the human body cause vomiting, fever, headache and other physiological reactions, so need to use activated carbon to remove its adsorption;

According to the China State Drug Administration, only enterprises that meet the "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Drug Production" can engage in drug production and sales, which have requirements for product inspection, plant equipment conditions and personnel qualifications.

In 2017, China State Drug Administration issued 《the Announcement on the Adjustment of the Review and Approval of Active Substances, Pharmaceutical Excipients and Pharmaceutical Packaging Mater ials》 require activated carbon used for pharmaceutical production also needs the registration number. At present, there are only 6 active carbon manufacturers with grade A pharmaceutical registration number in China, and only 2 active carbon manufacturers certified for intravenous injection.
